Return to Work Support

Vivo Recovery

Helping you to get back to doing what you love.

After suffering an illness or injury that prevents you from earning a living, it’s important to get your life back on track as soon as possible. Research shows that work is good for your physical and psychological health and your overall wellbeing.

Returning to work helps you make a valuable contribution to your family and society. It connects you with your colleagues and community while keeping you financially secure. Not only does returning to work give structure to your days and weeks, but it also helps you stay physically and mentally active.

In collaboration with you and your healthcare team, we can help you stay at or return to work. This may involve helping you stay at your current workplace, through cooperation with your employer.

Getting started

Our team of recovery specialists will seek to understand your specific set of circumstances. They’ll then help you access one of our trusted and valued external rehab service providers if required.

Workplace assessment

The rehab service provider will often undertake a workplace assessment, including meeting with you and your employer.

Return to Work plan

A Return to Work plan gets you back to your pre-disability role or a permanent alternate role and assists you in gradually increasing your work hours and/or duties.

Approving the plan

A medical case conference may be organised so one of your treaters can approve the Return to Work plan. The plan will be monitored and revised as needed.
